English: Johan Henri Antoine Gerrit Schmitt (1881-1955) was a member of the Dutch gymnastics team at the 1905 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships that was held in Bordeaux, France. The Dutch competitors were J. Janssen, D. Janssen, J.H. Reder, J.J. Kieft, J.H.A.G. Schmitt (all from Amsterdam), G.J. Douw (from Rotterdam), B. Florijn (from Utrecht) and F.J.W. Lambert (from Alkmaar). Kieft en Reder were replacements. Teamleader on the left was D. de Boer, 3rd from the left is J.H.A.G. Schmitt, 4th from the left is Ferdinand Jan Willem Lambert.
